Enjoy Labor Day in Atlanta!

Luckily, Lake St. James Place Apartments is  only minutes away from Downtown, so we’ll be able to enjoy the festivities that this weekend brings to the city!  If you want to take full advantage of weekend activities, here’s a couple of things to get into:

Labor Day Weekend Celebration
Head over to Stone Mountain Park and celebrate “The Last Blast Summer.”  It’s a three-day event (Sept. 4-6).  There will be four free concerts, freaturing Eden’s Edge, Chris Janson, Jaron and the Long Road to Love and Jerrod Niemann.  There will be laser shows and fireworks, too!

U.S. 10K Classic & Family Festival
Bring the family to the fun at the The Family Festival and U.S. 10k Classic Run! It will take place at the Galleria complex in Atlanta.  The weekend will be filled with sports and entertainment, such as live music, an interactive area for children, apparel and fitness gear and more!  Come out Saturday or Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The 10k Run is scheduled for Monday!

Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain Park

Come out and enjoy some cooler weather at Atlanta’s favorite place to celebrate the fall season. Now in it’s 7th year, Stone Mountain Park’s annual Pumpkin Festival has become a family favorite with kids and parents alike.

Throughout weekends in October enjoy attractions, entertainment, activities and fall decorations that are fun for all ages.

Event Highlights Include:

• New! The Pumpkin Tumbler – Crawl into the pumpkin tumbler if you dare! You fumble and bumble, but just don’t crumble before you tumble your way through our all new inflatable obstacle course.
